i continually write as a form of expression//mental digression of thoughts i can not mention//for lack of retention and because some things are better left unsaid//not left for dead but just left in a different part of the head//to be shared with a select few//those that knew you before you really knew//in those you trust your inner most thoughts//from them hoping for guidance in times in which you're lost//in yourself and others you find that thing//that common thread you share that can lead to understanding//and in time you find that in others you can also connect//not overnight but in time your thoughts you need not protect//but be careful to expose your soul//but do ensure that you do it whole//and in yourself you'll find peace//the release of you the thing you tried to keep//tucked away and hidden from them all//but find you did the situation to let yourself stand tall//and not to make others small but to realize that you mattered after all//just like anything in this world there is unity in division//in relating two different events one can envision//that life is not absolute but a feeling can be//freedom for one man can be what one man chooses not to see//opportunity to try and understand//in this life you must try in order to be the better man...
